Silver Marketing Association Thinktank Partners

Many Silver Marketing Association members will remember the Age Action Alliance collaboration network of over 900 public, private and third sector organisations – along with older people’s groups – originally run by DWP and Age UK. It’s now been brought back to life by the English Age Network and National Development Team for Inclusion, and Silver Marketing Association member Tony Watts OBE is at the helm.

The Silver Marketing Association has signed up as a member and we are sharing our news and views on their new website.

Age Action Alliance

EngAgeNet is a national organisation which enables the direct voices of older people across England to be heard by those who create and deliver the policies, strategies and services that affect their lives.
Based on the long-established English Regional Forums on Ageing, the network already embraces local groups and individuals with an estimated reach of over 300,000 older people.
Our ambition is to expand this substantially by welcoming others who share our aims and provide a unique resource for the public, private, third and academic sectors to tap into the opinions, knowledge and experience of older people.

Business for Health (B4H) is a business-led coalition supporting long-term sustainable innovation and investment in preventative health and care. Its aim is to enhance the health and economic resilience of the UK, catalysing and facilitating business contributions to reduce health inequalities and enhance healthy life expectancy. B4H has been working closely with the CBI team on the Business for Health Framework published last year which covers three pillars: 1) Workforce Health; 2) Consumer Health and 3) Community Health.
