The growing importance of marketing to older people is hammered home by a new report. It shows there are 11m more workers aged 50 or older than two decades ago. But it echoes anxiety expressed elsewhere over the stalling of silver employment rates since the onset of the pandemic, pointing our that those with higher incomes are more likely to quit paid work early by choice, while those earning less are more often forced out of jobs by ill health.
