From spending a few minutes sharing social media posts to printing and distributing posters, Britain is being invited to celebrate Age Without Limits Day on June 11. The posters can be downloaded and printed at home. Those with a bit more time are being urged to organise events such as quizzes or coffee mornings at home, or by bringing together colleagues of all ages at work, to explore ageism there, where and how it crops up – and what can be done about it. Meanwhile, on June 10, lending advisers will hear ways of benefitting from the expanding over-50s market at conference at Silverstone. The event is organised by later life lending platform Air, whose CEO Wil Hale says: “For advisers involved in planning, and supporting later life decisions, a one-dimensional view of this group is no longer enough. Understanding over-50s customers is key to building strong relationships to deliver advice effectively while meeting regulatory standards”
