We’re delighted to have received so many positive comments from the sponsors and winners of the 2026 Silver Marketing Awards.
Here’s what a selection of them had to say:
Grassroot Media and AMC
We are absolutely delighted that the TRUE CRIME bowls club campaign has won Best Outdoor Campaign at the Silver Marketing Awards.
The campaign worked because it brought together the right content, the right audience and the right environment. Rather than competing for attention in crowded media spaces, TRUE CRIME reached people in trusted grassroots bowls clubs, where members spend time, socialise and genuinely notice what is around them.
The campaign also showed the value of combining creative media placement with engaging the audience through research. The results gave us clear evidence of strong awareness, engagement and viewing interest, while the clubs themselves helped amplify the activity through conversation and their own channels.
This award is recognition of a genuinely collaborative campaign between AMC Global Media, Grassroot Media and the bowls clubs that made it possible. We are incredibly proud of what we achieved together.

Annie Stirk
“I’m still buzzing after winning the Silver Marketing Association’s Exceptional Achievement Award — it’s one of the highlights of my career, and to have my journey recognised in this way is humbling and incredibly special.
For me, this award is a wonderful platform to keep championing something I care deeply about: challenging ageism, changing perceptions, and highlighting the value, experience and contribution that this vibrant sector brings to our communities, workplaces and society.
The Silver Marketing Association is doing fantastic work championing the influence, spending power and potential of the silver demographic, while encouraging brands and businesses to recognise the opportunities that come with an ageing population. I’m proud to be part of that conversation.
Being a member of the Silver Marketing Association has been such a positive experience — it’s a brilliant, forward-thinking organisation, and I’ve loved every part of my involvement so far.
This award has only made me more determined to deepen that relationship, and I’d love nothing more than to keep working alongside the Silver Marketing Association — through judging, speaking, mentoring, whatever it takes -to keep pushing this conversation forward.
A huge thank you to Ageism Is Never In Style® for sponsoring this award. Jacynth Bassett and her team are making a real difference — challenging ageism, pushing for better representation, and promoting a genuinely inclusive, intergenerational approach. This was never about one generation replacing another. It’s about everyone, whatever their age, feeling seen, valued and respected.
Although my name is on the award, it reflects the encouragement, collaboration and belief of so many people I’ve had the privilege to work alongside. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and shared my passion for proving that getting older doesn’t mean stepping into the background.
If sharing my journey encourages just one person to step outside their comfort zone, embrace a new opportunity, or realise it’s never too late to reinvent themselves, then this award will have achieved something even more meaningful.
With my PR hat still firmly on, my mind is already racing with ideas. I want to use this recognition to open doors, spark conversations, build new partnerships, and keep championing age inclusion and better representation. Together, we can show that experience, diversity and fresh thinking aren’t defined by age.
Thank you to the judges, my fellow finalists, the Silver Marketing Association, Ageism Is Never In Style®, and everyone who has encouraged, supported and believed in me along the way. I’m excited to see where this opportunity leads — and to keep making a positive difference.

Winning our first industry award for Best Audio Campaign at the Silver Marketing Awards 2026 is incredibly special.
It feels like wonderful recognition of the passion, hard work and commitment from every one of my guests who each offer their wisdom and time so freely and enthusiastically for the benefit of others.
I am also very grateful for the support and encouragement that I have received behind the scenes that has gone into bringing the Retirement Lounge Podcast to life.

We’re feeling proud to have won ‘Best Direct Mail (Travel) Campaign 2026’, awarded by Ambassador Cruise Line. It recognises something we see every day: curiosity has no age limit. Many of our adventurous clients happen to be over 50, and we’re proud to stand alongside partners who champion that same thinking.
Julian Berry, UniFida
For all of us working at UniFida it was a great delight and slight surprise to win the award for ‘Best use of AI in a marketing campaign’. We are very pleased that the Silver Marketing Association chose to include an AI category in their awards. It’s early days in the development of the uses for AI in marketing and in this case we used AI to build predictive targeting models rather than develop content, which we expect will be an important role for AI moving forward.
Chris Hudson, Chairman, This is HUB
Winning recognition from the Silver Marketing Association is a real milestone for HUB. We’ve invested in building genuine expertise in the over-55 market over the years, not just as a demographic to sell to, but as an audience that deserves accurate representation. Seeing our work validated by an organisation dedicated to this space is extremely rewarding. It reinforces our ongoing commitment to representing this audience accurately and to challenging unfair stereotypes, both in the work we do for our clients and across the wider industry.

Winning this award means everything to us.
We set out to create a campaign with real purpose and heart – one that challenged outdated perceptions and championed a community that’s still too often overlooked. Having that intention recognised is incredibly meaningful.
For our team, this award is more than recognition – it’s validation of the care, creativity, and conviction we poured into this campaign.
We hope this recognition encourages more inclusive, purpose driven storytelling across the industry.
