Here’s what a selection of them had to say:

It was again great – engaging, thought provoking, and the mix of diverse expertise and insights really was brilliant.

I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you, and say congratulations to you and your team on such a great conference and awards event yesterday.

It was wonderful to be a part of it, both as a delegate and a sponsor. Many of the sessions provided great food for thought and the content I felt was just the right balance.

Once again, thank you for letting me, and Digital Drums, be a part of it all.

Steve Dunne, Chief Executive, Digital Drums Ltd

What an amazing day! I learnt so much from everyone on the panels, young and old, worth looking at the list on the post below, plus so many people that I spoke to on the day.

Hilary Mines, Founder Trundl

Yesterday, I has lucky to be one of the panellists at the Silver Marketing Association annual Summit in London. As three men with more hair in our ears than on our heads, we talked about marketing to middle aged men, how do you reach them and what does it take to connect. As a group we are sometimes overlooked and being authentic and meeting them where they are is key.

Thank you for the opportunity to showcase the value and contribution middle aged men make to the workplace and the economy.

Mike Mansfield, CEO, ProAge

It was a pleasure to be on this panel. Tricia Cusden was inspiring about saying women 50+ don’t have to all relate to aesthetic medicine and tweakments. And making the point that ‘older’ women still love makeup. Obviously Anthea Turner is such a brand by herself – embracing all the beauty trends very naturally. A big thank you for Sue Benson for bringing all our insights together.

Emmanuelle Bassmann, Founder, In-Trend Ltd.

Brilliant event and it’s great to see how the membership has grown in recent years. It was impressive to hear the thoughts from the younger and future marketeers in their panel discussion. Thank you Silver Marketing Association for another well-organised summit. It was an honour for us to be one of the sponsors and the judges.

Michael King, Managing Director, Senior Response

Absolutely loved being at the Silver Marketing Association Summit yesterday. It was a truly insightful and inspiring day focused on the growing and evolving Silver Market.

Some personal highlights:
Carl Honoré keynote – an immensely impactful session covering Carl’s 5 core principles that really got the Silver Party started!
Dragons’ Den – congrats to trundl for winning the (imaginary!) investment. A fantastic platform helping people stay active while supporting UK charities – one to watch!
AI and the Silver Market – what would a 2025 conference be without it? Fascinating discussions on the role of tech in this space.
And of course… hearing Aled Jones sing a bit of Walking In The Air while hosting the Awards. Iconic.

It was brilliant to meet new people and reconnect with familiar faces – sharing ideas, listening to the challenges other marketers are tackling, and discovering potential new brand partnerships. I came away feeling energised and proud to be marketing in this space – helping people find the products and services they need to live fuller, healthier lives.

My key takeaways?
– Design campaigns with heart and soul
– Share real stories
– …and above all – embody genuine trust.

Josh Rafe Coles, Marketing Manager, ScooterPac

At Jules Verne Ltd, it’s our belief that solo travel is a deeply personal, empowering experience – one that deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

We’re proud therefore that our Solo Traveller Collection was recognised as the ‘Best Direct Mail Campaign’ at the Silver Marketing Association awards last night, where it was praised for its emotional impact and commercial success. A brilliant result – and a tribute to the team’s thoughtful, creative work. ?

Debbie O’Neill, Managing Director, Jules Verne

The Silver Marketing Association 2025 Summit was one of the most useful age focused conferences I’ve been to. An agenda packed full of really useful and insightful speakers / panellist who leant in with authenticity and passion.

The panel I chaired covered marketing to midlife women in the beauty sector. A sector who on many levels is leading the way in age representation but in other ways has created an anti ageing culture. It definitely reignited my fuel for marketing to this varied, diverse and beautifully funny audience.

Sue Benson, CEO, The Behaviours Agency

A day full of fascinating insights and rich conversations at the Silver Marketing Association summit last Thursday.

So many takeaways from the presentations – not least that I’m at the bottom of the happiness curve!

Rounded off with an insightful conversation and sharing ideas with Anthea Turner – a woman who oozes vitality.

Thank you for putting on such a fabulous day and inviting me and Turners Oak to be a part of it. Susan Gregory, Founder Turners Oak

It was a real privilege to share the stage with the brilliant Jamsna Ahmad from Accord Marketing, diving into Sandals Resorts International’s brand evolution and the vital role the Over 50s market plays in our marketing strategy.

We also had the chance to spotlight our hugely successful influencer campaign with the amazing Anthea Turner – which proudly earned us the award for Best Social Media Campaign!

A huge thank you for bringing together such an inspiring event and fostering important conversations around this often-overlooked demographic. Plenty of insights shared – and plenty more to come!

Jenny Sowerby, Director of Marketing (UK & Europe), Sandals Resorts International

What an incredible day at this year’s Silver Marketing Summit!

From the keynote address from Carl Honore, introducing the new Silver Marketing white paper on Silver Marketing Around the World, to a Dragons Den of great ideas for services to support the silver market.

Highlights for me were the in-depth discussion with younger marketers on their perceptions of the older demographic and how these have evolved since working in this space. The closer look at marketing for middle-aged men which is just the tip of the iceberg and a report I’m looking forward to working on with the Silver Marketing Association for launch next year. The wonderful Silver Marketing Awards with some incredible entries this year – judging has never been more difficult. And of course, my starstruck moment where I got to pin a lapel mic on Anthea Turner. Life is now complete, what more can I say!

Rachel Pease, Founder, Mash Marketing

As last year, there were lots of interesting insights for me across a range of contexts and I was able to meet some fascinating people in the breaks. You also managed, again, to create an event which was clearly very well organised but also welcoming, inclusive – and fun!

Rachel Woodward-Carrick, Individual Member

Congratulations to the team at Silver Marketing for an excellent event. You packed an incredible amount into one day – it takes impressive organisation to make it look so effortless!

Vicky Carne, Individual Member

Thanks again for hosting and pulling together such an interesting event this year! You always do such a beautiful job!

Danny Hanlon, UK COO, Granite Transformations

I wanted to congratulate you on a really impressive event that was brilliantly executed, my main regret being I didn’t get to see enough of it! Hopefully I’ll be able to be present for the whole event next year.

Oakley Walters, Chief Growth Officer, Good Life Sorted

Well done again for another hugely successful summit and awards – it really was a brilliant celebration.

Sarah Locke – PR & Events Manager, Saga Holidays

As always, your SMA Summit is packed with valuable information from superb experts as well as start up! Very inspiring!

Sharon Rose, M.S., Social Gerontologist Virtual delegate watching from Florida

It was a great day full of insight and inspiration. I particularly enjoyed Sue Benson‘s panel discussion about marketing beauty products – the panellists were all engaging, smart, articulate and had some respectfully varied opinions.
It was also great to get to mingle and meet new people during the breaks. Thank you very much!

Mark Heap, Founder, Mark Heap Consulting
